The London & North Western Railway Co. Ltd. was founded in 1993 by music entrepreneur Pete Waterman who has a long standing passion for rail. As privatisation opened up opportunities in the UK rail market in the late 1990’s, LNWR provided a response to a growing demand from rail operators for convenient and affordable servicing and repair facilities.

Continuous investment in the operation at Crewe has resulted in a capable and versatile business serving the needs of rail operators and the wider industry.
